Amy Eckart and Kevin Birch announce their engagement.

Amy is the daughter of Donald and Olene Eckart of Albert Lea. Kevin is the son of Ron Hansen and Jeanne Birch-Hansen of Albert Lea and the late Michael Birch.

Amy is the executive assistant manager at Walgreens. Kevin is a finisher at Alamco Wood Products.

A wedding is planned for Aug. 28, 2010, at 4 p.m. at Donald and Olene’s Home.
