Crime Victims Crisis Center: Be part of the Freeborn County Crisis Response Team. Members are available to help area residents who have faced a disaster. The training series of three sessions runs Oct. 3, 9 and 23. To get an application form and apply now, contact Rose Olmsted at 377-5461 to help neighbors in distress.

Reading Partners: When school resumes, children will again need adults to help them increase their reading skills for increased success this school year. Training is provided in early September so you just need a love of reading and a concern for children. Partner for an hour or two a week to help a child gain skill and confidence as a reader. Call Pat at 377-7433 to make a difference, one child at a time.

RSVP, a program of Senior Resources of Freeborn County, receives some funding through the United Way of Freeborn County, the Minnesota Board on Aging and the Corporation for National and Community Service.
