The Albert Lea girls’ tennis team (0-8 Big Nine, 2-17 overall) fell to No. 3 Rochester Mayo 7-0 Thursday.

The No. 3 doubles team of Lucy Villagomez and Colleen Thompson took four games from the Spartans (8-1), losing 6-2, 6-2.

The Tigers play again Saturday at the Big Nine Conference championships in Rochester.
