Jerome Hanson, 68, Albert Lea

Jerome Roger Hanson was born July 12, 1942, in Albert Lea, the son of Robert and Minnie Hanson. He had lived in Mesa, Ariz., for the past seven years where he passed away Sept 3, 2010, from complications of emphysema. He was 68 years old.
Jerry was a long-time truck driver. He got his start going to work with his dad at Matson Trucklines in Albert Lea.
While living in Blaine he was a truck driver for Domino’s. He later moved to Lake City and drove for Pepin Hieghts. In 2003 he moved to Mesa, Ariz., where he enjoyed the warm winters and traveling in the mountains. Payson and Shaw Low and occasionally going to the casino.
Jerome is survived by his wife, JoAnn Hanson, of Mesa, Ariz.; daughters: Ann Hanson of Mesa, Ariz., and Janelle Onken of Gordonsville; son, John (Cheri) Butler of Albert Lea; grandchildren: Kaelynn, Josiah, Lexxis and Jared; brothers and sisters: Bill (Barbara) Hanson of Springbrook, Wis., Mervin (Joyce) Hanson of Waseca, Barbara Hunley of Lake Mills, Iowa, Adolph Hanson of Lake Mills, Iowa, and Maxine Narverud of Mason City, Iowa.
Jerome was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: James and Ronald.
