Lake Mills dominates North Iowa

The Lake Mills volleyball team traveled to North Iowa on Thursday to take on the Bison and won 3-0.
Josie Brackey led Lake Mills with 11 kills, while Amanda Lampman had six kills and Abbey Honsey had five.
Morgan Fjelstad had 24 assists.
Serving ended up being a big factor for Lake Mills as they connected on 93 percent of their serves during the sweep.
Lampman went 18-for-19 with six aces. Micah Peters finished 14-for-15 with four aces, while Haley Matthews and Lindy Pins went 10-for-11 from the service line.
Matthews also had three aces and Pins recorded two aces.
Brackey also led the Bulldogs with eight assists and Fjelstad had four.
“Solid night,” Lake Mills coach Jim Boehmer said. “We go into an extremely tough weekend tournament at Forest City. We will see some great competition and it will be good for us.”
