Randy Demmer, candidate for U.S. Congress from the 1st Congressional District, will be at Blondie’s Grille, 115 E. Clark St., Albert Lea, at noon Tuesday.

According to a news release from the Freeborn County Republican Party, people are encouraged to bring questions and comments.

Demmer and his wife, Kathy, make their home in Hayfield. He has a bachelor of agricultural business administration from the University of Minnesota. He has been an owner and operator of a corn and soybean farm and is a small business owner.

Demmer has been a state representative from District 29A for four terms. He has been assistant minority leader of the Minnesota State House of Representatives and has also been very active in his community, church and many organizations.
