The other day, I had a chance to hear Robin Brown speak. The thing that impressed me most about Robin is how hard she has worked for her constituents and for the whole state.

Secondly, I was very impressed by her dignity and willingness to go into great detail with her answers. Even though she was pressed to do so, she refused to talk negatively about her opponent. I very much want to see Robin win this election so she can continue the good work she has started.

I can’t believe how the Republicans have gotten by this campaign season with only blanket rhetoric and no details. Their theme has been cut taxes, shrink government deregulate, repeal health care and get President Obama out of office.

Deregulation has worked so well in the airline and banking business; naturally, one would want to apply in to everything else.

Oh, by the way, Reaganomics, supply-side economics, or the trickle-down theory has worked outstandingly. So well, that 86 percent of the wealth in the United States is now controlled by the top 20 percent of the people. There’s nothing left to pour in the top.

I could go on and on, but it’s much easier to describe the Republican agenda in a very few words: Survival of the fittest!
