Brown is right on for District 27A

Protecting funding for schools, nursing homes and our environment is of paramount concern in Robin Brown’s work and her successes are great for District 27A. Robin’s many achievements as our representative include securing funding for the cleanup of the Edgewater Park dump site and effectively managing the tough budget concerns of our current state of economic affairs.

Speaking of the state budget, it makes sense to use a balanced approach in fixing the budget problems the state is currently facing. Taxing our way out or cutting programs alone will not fix this problem. Rep. Brown understands this and she is dedicated to finding viable solutions that meet the needs of all Minnesotans. Robin is right on the mark when she says that there needs to be a thoughtful combination of revenue raisers and program efficiencies to balance the deficit.

This state had been driven down the wrong path through Gov. Tim Pawlenty’s “my way or the highway” policies. Under his inflexible direction we have a multi-billion dollar deficit lingering over our shoulders. Robin wants to counteract that and in doing so will continue to support the JOBZ program that will help to bring jobs to the area.

Robin will continue to work hard to bring home funding for education, nursing homes and to clean up our area lakes and streams.

Robin Brown is the person we need for a common sense bipartisan approach. We need to keep Robin Brown as our state representative. Please vote to re-elect Robin Brown.
