Demmer won’t buckle to Beltway

We the people of southern Minnesota have seen how Rep. Tim Walz, DFL of the 1st District, has acted in Washington, D.C. He has listened only to his special interests and not to us. When Obamacare was being debated, he ignored us. When the budget deficit exploded, he turned off the ringer on his phone. When we asked for government to get out of the way of business so jobs could be created, he met secretly with union leaders. This is not what we want to represent us.
Randy Demmer is a businessman and farmer. He was a citizen legislator in St. Paul and proved he’d vote for what was right for southern Minnesotans. When it came to issues, he’s walked his district and asked questions of his constituents. During this election, he’s walked our neighborhoods and towns and talked with us about our concerns and our ideas. He’s been honest and true to his ideals, but is also willing to be our agent, and not a special interest advocate.
Demmer is the kind of person that we need in Washington. We need a person who will talk with us, represent us, and not buckle to the political machines that run our nation. His opponent talks like an independent and then votes with his leaders on every issue. Walz doesn’t want to listen to our voices, because he knows better. Demmer wants to change that. He wants to be our voice, our agent, our representative to Washington. We’ve seen what Walz will do, let’s send someone who’ll not just talk the talk, but someone who will actually walk the walk.
