Alden-Conger (0-6) vs. Cleveland (1-5), 7 p.m.
The outlook: After suffering a 53-26 loss to J-W-P, the Alden-Conger football team will look to enter the win column for the first time this season as they host Cleveland.
The Knights have struggled most of the season as the defense has given up 292 total points, while the offense has scored a total of 72 points this season.
Meanwhile, Cleveland comes into the match-up having won its last game 32-6 over Truman.
Before that win, the Clippers had lost five straight.
Glenville-Emmons (3-3) at Houston (3-3), 7 p.m.
The outlook: Having defeated Mabel-Canton 28-20 on homecoming last Friday, the Glenville-Emmons football team will look to record a win on the road this friday when they travel to Houston to face the Hurricanes.
Both teams enter the game with 3-3 records.
Last Friday, the Wolverines came up with big stops on defense and used great execution on offense to defeat Mabel-Canton.
Special teams were another factor that helped Glenville-Emmons as Peter Hansen had a big night returning the ball.
Houston enters the game having defeated Lyle/Pacelli 41-20 last friday. The Hurricanes have not won consecutive games this season.
Lake Mills (3-4) at West Fork (5-2), 7 p.m.
The outlook: After defeating Nashua-Plainfield last week, the Lake Mills football team will take to the road this week as they travel to West Fork.
The Bulldogs had three touchdowns from running back Tyler Rice last week in the winning effort, while quarterback Royce Byrnes chipped in with 130 yards passing and threw for two touchdowns.
The Lake Mills defense will have a tough task this week as they face a West Fork team that features quarterback Seth Tuttle.
Last week, Tuttle threw for 287 yards and five touchdowns in a West Fork win over AGWSR.
NRHEG (4-2) vs. MVL (2-4), 7 p.m.
The outlook: Turnovers have become a major issue the past two weeks for the New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva football team.
The Panthers have committed 13 turnovers over the past two weeks which saw NRHEG get blown out by WEM and Maple River.
On the flip side, Minnesota Valley Lutheran comes into the game on a two game winning streak as they have defeated Maple River and GFW. Before that the Chargers started the season with a record of 0-4.
USC (2-4) vs. Maple River (3-3), 7 p.m.
The outlook: After suffering a 61-13 loss to WEM last Friday, the United South Central football team will look to end a two game losing streak on Friday night when they host Maple River.
The Rebels will look to get solid play from its defense and get the running game going on offense with Chris Melby and Tyson Morton.
Maple River enters the contest winning two of its last three games.
The Eagles defeated NRHEG last week 34-13 and forced eight Panther turnovers.
Northwood-Kensett (2-5) at Southeast Webster (0-8), 7 p.m.
The outlook: After starting the season 0-5, the Northwood-Kensett football team have won two straight games as hit the road looking to add a third consecutive win against Southeast Webster.
The Vikings running game has been key to the recent success as quarterback Spencer Capitani rushed for over 100 yards for the second week in a row.
Along with Capitani, running backs Nik Werner and Dylan Nitcher have had strong games on the ground over the last two weeks.
Southeast Webster comes into the game 0-7 on the year.
The Southeast Webster defense has given up over 411 total points this season, while their offense has scored only 39 total points.
