Lake Mills falls to St. Ansgar

St. Ansgar scored 41 straight points Friday against the Bulldogs and won 41-7.
Royce Byrnes scored the lone touchdown for the Bulldogs on a one-yard run in the fourth quarter.
Giveaways plagued the Bulldogs, as St. Ansgar finished the game with a 4:0 turnover ratio.
St. Ansgar outgained Lake Mills on offense 274 yards to 122, gaining 251 yards on the ground.
Byrnes led the Bulldogs in passing, going 3-for-10 for 47 yards with an interception.
He also led Lake Mills’ ground attack with 54 yards on seven carries.
Tyler Rice chipped in 10 yards rushing on four carries.
Alex Grunhovd has two receptions for 35 yards and Drey LyBarger had one reception for 11 yards.
The Bulldogs are in action again Friday as they host Nashua-Plainfield for their homecoming.
