The Granada-Huntley-East Chain Mustangs outscored Alden-Conger 25-0 in the second half Friday, and beat the Knights 39-14.

A-C held leads of 8-0 and 14-6 before taking a 14-14 tie to halftime, but couldn’t hold on during their Homecoming game.

“We came out tough,” Alden-Conger head coach Nick Willaert said. “But our inexperience and age showed. When things start slowing down, when we make mistakes and don’t know how to come back from that.”
