Pet blessing

The Rev. Jim Berning and Deacon Mike Ellis performed a pet blessing for 19 well-behaved cats and dogs on Oct. 3. This was in honor of St. Francis, patron saint of animals. The feast of St. Francis was Oct. 4. -- Submitted photo
