Rebels sweep Rockets

The United South Central volleyball team traveled to Randolph on Tuesday night as they looked to end their regular season with a win against the Rockets.
The Rebels defeated Randolph 25-7, 25-19 and 25-12 to earn the sweep over the Rockets.
“It was a full and complete team effort tonight,” USC coach Jolene Bute said. “It’s a good way to enter the section playoffs with the win.”
Kayla Stenzel led USC with 18 kills on the night, while Danielle Koestler tallied 11 kills.
Allie Voigt recorded seven kills and Val Sahr had six kills for the Rebels.
Katie Ovrebo led three players who went perfect from the service line on the night.
Ovrebo went 18-for-18 behind the service line, while Marielle Schultz finished 12-for-12 from the line.
Tayla Sunde also went 17-for-17 and had a team high six digs.
USC finishes the regular season with a 15-5 record and a 6-2 Gopher conference record.
