As the real estate market begins to recover slowly from the housing crisis, Re/Max agents continue to live up to their motto “Outstanding Agents, Outstanding Results” in their support of Children’s Miracle Network. Greg Moen, Matt Johnson, Steve Honsey, Jay Waltman, Heather Allen, Emelie Paulson, Jim Paulson, Josh Harmdierks, Lynn Kelley and Lisa Thornton of Re/Max Properties and Cheryl Utpadel of MCT Mortgage of Albert Lea recently hosted a successful Children’s Miracle Network Jeans Day on Sept. 15. All funds raised stay in Albert Lea’s community.

“We have all been hit pretty hard in our industry,” said Moen, “But children’s hospitals have been hit even harder. Now more than ever it is important for us to give back to the community. Our event was the perfect way to support our local kids.”

It is the individual efforts of agents that helped Re/Max raise $7 million in 2009, and reach the outstanding cumulative total of $100 million in donations to Children’s Miracle Network since 1992.

“Year after year, and despite the challenges that face their industry, Re/Max agents prove that their compassion for the community defines who they are and how they do business. Through the Miracle Home program, where donations are made with each real estate transaction, agents’ cumulative efforts enable our network of hospitals to bring expert care to millions of deserving children,” said Scott Burt, president and CEO of Children’s Miracle Network.
