Tigers fall to East 2-1

The Albert Lea Tigers girls’ soccer team lost at Mankato East Tuesday 2-1.
Anna Anderson scored the lone goal for the Tigers 57 minutes and 31 seconds into the match, assisted by Sydney Overgaard.
“(East’s) speed and athleticism was a problem for us,” Albert Lea head coach Rick Barnhill said.
The Tigers play their regular season finale Thursday at Austin.
