The Glenville-Emmons volleyball team hosted Houston on Thursday night looking to get back in the win column after suffering a loss this past weekend.
The Wolverines dominated the Hurricanes as Glenville-Emmons (12-7 overall, 6-2 SEC) earned a 3-0 sweep over Houston.
“I’m very proud of the girls tonight,” G-E head coach Lisa Ziebell said. “They pulled together tonight. The cheering was awesome. It pumped the girls up. It was an awesome environment.”
Kalli Van Ryswyk led the Wolverines with 10 kills, while Alayna Hall had eight kills.
Kailey Davis led Glenville-Emmons with 23 digs, while Hall had 14 digs.
The Wolverines also had a spectacular night from the service line as the team went 68-for-71 missing only three serves all night.
Davis went 13-for-13, while Devin Cooper finished 12-for-12 from the service line.
Robyn Roe also went 11-for-11 serving on the night.
“We had a good night serving,” Ziebell said. “We didn’t have a lot of aces assists or kills tonight. We just talked about playing without any errors, that was our goal.”
Glenville-Emmons travels to Mabel on Monday to play Mabel-Canton.
