To Zygi Wilf and Leslie Frazier.
Wilf, principal owner of the Minnesota Vikings, pulled the trigger and removed Brad Childress as head coach. It was time. While the ship may have sailed on the Vikings’ 2010 season, this should bode well for the future of the organization. And we’ll throw a preemptive thumbs up to Frazier, who hasn’t taken the sideline as interim head coach yet, but he should be a welcomed change.
To the person who spelled Kevin Williams’ name wrong.
While we’re on the Vikings, a big thumbs down to the NFL jersey maker who spelled Minnesota defensive tackle Kevin Williams’ last name W-I-L-L-A-I-M-S. The Vikings may be 3-7, but Williams is a five-time pro-bowler.
To the Calvary Baptist Church of Albert Lea.
Every year this local church sends Christmas letters to soldiers on its military list. This year, Thanksgiving letters were also sent. This is a great idea and it means a lot to the soldiers. We encourage others to follow suit and show their support for area men and women serving.
