Graveside memorial service for Helen Patricia LaCore of Albert Lea will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Graceland Cemetery. The Rev. Richard Spande will officiate.

Helen died Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, at the Good Samaritan Center. She was 86 years old.

Helen was born Aug. 17, 1924, at Pocahontas, Iowa, to Louis Rudolph and Anna (Fuksa) Viktora. Helen has lived in Albert Lea since 1941. She married Harold G. LaCore on Feb. 23, 1950. Helen worked for George Hormel and Co., Wilson and Co., Blue Earth Cannery, Wells Chicken Plant and retired in 1982 from Land-O-Lakes where she worked for 25 years. Helen loved to play bingo, work puzzles and crochet. Helen loved all animals, especially small dogs.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents: Louis and Anna Viktora; husband, Harold LaCore; brothers: Bernard Viktora, John Viktora, Charles Viktora, Edward Viktora and Louis Viktora Jr.; sister, Mildred Meyers.
