Man arrested after theft, obstruction

Albert Lea police arrested Thomas Lee Tuttle, 29, for obstruction and disorderly conduct at 11:16 p.m. Monday after receiving a call of two people fighting in a car at 711 E. Hawthorne St.

According to police, Tuttle and his brother, Wayne Foster Tuttle, 25, allegedly stole liquor from Bar Games in Northwood, Iowa, earlier in the night. Albert Lea police received a call from Northwood authorities informing of the incident.

Albert Lea Police Lt. J.D. Carlson said both of the Tuttle brothers were in a vehicle arguing when police arrived. The younger brother ended up being transported by ambulance to Rochester after he passed out from intoxication.

It is unknown as of press time how the two brothers will be charged for the alleged Northwood incident.

Woman cited for shoplifting

Police cited April Lynn Buddy for misdemeanor theft and criminal damage to property at 7:55 p.m. Monday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave., according to reports.

Items reported missing

Tools and other items were reported missing from 1710 E. Hawthorne St. at 8:34 a.m. Monday, according to police reports.
