One injured in I-35 crash

An Arkansas man received non-lifethreatening injuries Saturday after he reportedly rear-ended another vehicle on Interstate 35 just north of Interstate 90.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the wreck occurred at 11:49 a.m.

The report states Douglas C. Runnells, 74, of Eureka Springs, Ark., was driving southbound on I-35 in a 2010 Honda Civic when he reportedly rear-ended a 2001 Ford pickup driven by Douglas R. Sander, 37, of Fergus Falls.

Runnels received non-lifethreatening injuries, and his passenger, Rachel A. Runnels, 65, of Eureka Springs, Ark., was not injured.

Sander and his three passengers — Lisa Sander, 36, Grace Sander, 2, and Jack Sander, 8 — were not injured.

The Clarks Grove Fire Department assisted with traffic control.
