Local man to perform with Augustana Choir throughout Midwest
Kevin Zogg, of Albert Lea, will perform with the Augustana Choir on its upcoming Interim Tour. The Augustana Choir, whose “Song of Luke” performance was recently featured on South Dakota Public Television, will perform five concerts during its 2011 Interim Tour, beginning Thursday, Jan. 27.
The 72-member choir will perform at the following churches:
Bethesda Lutheran Church, Ames, Iowa, 7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 27
St. Timothy Lutheran Church, Naperville, Ill. ,7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 28
St. Luke’s Lutheran Church of Logan Square, Chicago, 3 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 29
Bethel Lutheran Church, Madison, Wis., 9 a.m. worship service and 3 p.m. concert, Sunday, Jan. 30
Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, Rochester, 7 p.m., Monday, Jan. 31
Tour concerts are presented at no charge. An offering will be taken.
The choir will also perform a home concert at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 6, at First Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls, S.D. Tickets for this concert are available at www.augietickets.com.
