Ahna Bruns scored 13 points, while Anna Mallen scored 10 to lead the West Hancock Eagles girls’ basketball team past the Northwood-Kensett Vikings 62-30 Tuesday night in Britt.

McKensie Nicholson led the Vikings with eight points, while Laura Slavikova had six points.

The Eagles jumped out to an early 10-7 lead and raced to a 33-12 half-time lead.

Northwood-Kensett is back in action on Thursday against Lake Mills.
