GRAND MEADOW- Tyler Adix and Michael Reyerson both recorded double doubles, but it wasn’t enough as the LeRoy-Ostrander Cardinals boys’ basketball team defeated the Alden-Conger Knights 52-43 Wednesday in Grand Meadow.

Adix recorded 16 points and 13 rebound, while Reyerson had 15 points and 16 rebounds.

“They got us into foul trouble,” Alden-Conger coach Bill Hintz said. “We had two guys that had to sit and we are short on guys to begin with.”

The Knights went into halftime with a 26-22 lead.

In the second half, the Knights got into foul trouble and also had trouble holding onto the ball as they committed 38 turnovers.

Alden-Conger is off until Monday when they host the Glenville-Emmons Wolverines.
