Several burglary attempts reported

Interstate Molding, 2220 Myers Road, filed a burglary report at 7:31 a.m. Monday. According to Albert Lea police reports, nothing appeared to be missing.

Albert Lea police responded to a burglary call at 8:19 a.m. Monday. A house at 621 W. Park Ave. was reportedly broken into.

Albert Lea police responded to a report of criminal damage at 1825 W. Ninth St. Monday at 10:47 a.m. It was reported a shed was broken into and items were missing.

In a separate incident, police responded to a report of criminal property damage at 914 Frank Ave. at 1:48 p.m. Monday. According to police reports, a back door to a vacant house was kicked in and theft of a 20-foot enclosed trailer was attempted. Extra patrol was requested.

Police respond to two traffic crashes

Albert Lea police responded to a traffic crash Monday at 4:52 a.m. at the intersection of Frank Avenue and East Front Street. A taxi driver reported the vehicle went off the road and hit a tree. In a separate incident, police responded to a traffic crash at 1705 SE Broadway Ave. at 11:29 a.m. Monday. No injuries were reported in either incident.

Hit and run crash

A hit and run crash was reported at 305 E. Third St. Monday at 5:31 a.m. No injuries were reported and Albert Lea police filed a report.

Theft reported

Albert Lea police responded to a theft at 203 Elizabeth Ave. Monday at 9:59 a.m. It was reported that items were stolen from a van.
