The Dec. 28 editorial on the Vikings-Eagles game was way out of line at best, and in my opinion irresponsible. Anyone who has seen the news reports of vehicles trapped in the storm as well as other transportation problems in the eastern U.S. knows that travel was not only foolish, it was dangerous.

The NFL rescheduled the game for the safety of the fans, not because it would be difficult to play footballl. They should be commended, not criticized, for once putting safety ahead of profits.
