Panthers too much for Bulldogs

LAKE MILLS, Iowa — Lindy Pins scored 16 points Tuesday, but Lake Mills girls’ basketball fell 47-35 to Central Springs.
The Bulldogs (1-1, 0-0 North Iowa) trailed 23-17 and couldn’t recover against a quick, athletic Panthers team, according to head coach Beth Van Roekel.
Haley Mathews had six points, three rebounds and three assists for the Bulldogs while Amanda Lampman and Catherine Adams had four points apiece.
The Bulldogs play again at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Northwood-Kensett.
