Albert Lea police conducted a search warrant at 2:58 p.m. Thursday at 408 High St. as part of an investigation into a rash of robberies in Minneapolis, St. Paul, Richfield and Bloomington, according to police.

One person was arrested and transported up to the Twin Cities, though the name was not available as of press time.

Man injured in automobile crash

Juan Carlos Galvan, 18, was reportedly injured Thursday morning after his truck went into a ditch and hit a tree. According to sheriff’s reports, the crash occurred at 9:10 a.m. Thursday on Freeborn County Road 46 east of the truck stops. The road surface was slippery due to freezing rain that morning.

Farm site broken into

An abandoned farm site at 11133 850th Ave. in Glenville was reported broken into at 11:23 a.m. Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.
