Rebels overpower Buccaneers

Val Sahr had a double-double with ten points and 12 rebounds as the United South Central Rebels girls’ basketball team defeated the Waterville-Elysian-Morristown Buccaneers 55-34 Tuesday in Wells.
The Rebels jumped out to an early 13-0 lead and never looked back as they went into halftime with a 33-16 lead.
USC out rebounded WEM 35-19 and only gave up three offensive rebounds on the night.
Along with Sahr, Katie Ovrebo and Kayla Stenzel both had ten points a piece.
Stenzel also recorded five blocks and had four steals.
The Rebels are off until Tuesday December 28th when they travel to St. Clair for the Holiday Tournament, where they will play Canby.
