The United South Central girls’ basketball team jumped out to a 32-14 halftime lead Monday, and held of Bethlehem Academy 48-34 in Faribault.

The Rebels (2-0, 1-0 Gopher) outrebounded the Cardinals (0-1, 0-1) 40-22.

Kayla Stenzel scored 12 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Rebels.

Taylor Chose scored nine points, Val Sahr scored eight and Kristie Ovrebo and Danielle Koestler each scored six.
