ALDEN — The Alden-Conger Knights boys’ basketball team led the Lyle/Pacelli Athletics just once Tuesday — with no time left on the clock.

Michael Reyerson’s buzzer-beating jump shot lifted the Knights (1-0, 1-0 Section 1A) to a 55-53 victory over the Athletics (0-1, 0-1).

The game’s final two points were part of Reyerson’s 19 points. He also grabbed a team-high 13 rebounds.

Tyler Adix scored 20 points for the Knights.

The Knights play again at 7:15 p.m. Friday at Le Center.
