Ahead 24-20 at halftime, the Glenville-Emmons girls’ basketball team never trailed Tuesday in a 51-44 win at the Mabel Canton Cougars.

Emily Belshan scored 18 points and grabbed nine rebounds for the Wolverines (4-1, 4-1 Southeast) and Kalli Van Ryswyk scored 12 points with 11 rebounds and four blocks.

Kailey Davis scored 12 points with eight assists, seven rebounds and six steals.

The Wolverines are in action again at 7:15 p.m. Thursday against Immanuel Lutheran in Glenville.
