The funeral service for David Allen Williams, of Albert Lea, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea. The Rev. Kent Otterman will officiate. Visitation will be 8:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery Oakland.

David died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011, at St. Marys Hospital, Rochester. He was 70 years old.

David was born Sept. 8, 1940, in Austin, to Ralph A. and Frances “Dolly” (Kerwin) Williams. He attended Albert Lea High School and Marseilles High School. David had resided in the Albert Lea and the surrounding areas until the past three years where he had lived at the Good Samaritan Center. He worked for 40 years for Wilson & Co. and Farmstead. He also worked for the New Richland Care Center. David enjoyed bowling, riding motorcycles, music and sports.

David is survived by a daughter, Elly Chicos and her husband, Tom, of Albert Lea; two sons: Derek Williams and his wife, Stacy, of Owatonna and Michael Williams of Arizona; four grandchildren: Tyler, Zac, Kacy and Spencer.

David is preceded in death by his father, Ralph Williams.
