The Domestic Engineers home study group met on Dec. 14 at the Wedgewood Cove Golf Club for their Christmas party.

President Sharon Jahnke welcomed everyone and thanked the hostesses. The hostesses were: Elaine Baer, Darla Christianson, Neva Matheson, Jean McCarthy, Gen Montei and Perky Smith.

They read the homemaker’s creed together. Jean McCarthy read a prayer she had written part of and reading “Giving.”

Elaine Baer gave the reading, “Grandmother’s shoes.” They exchanged Christmas gifts and revealed their secret pals. They drew names for our 2011 secret pals.

Neva and Jean will take Christmas gifts to the residents of Broadway Board and Care Home.
