Local woman graduates from dog training academy

Ashley O’Byrne, a 2005 Albert Lea High School graduate, graduated from the Tom Rose Dog Training Academy in High Ridge, Mo., where there is only a 40 percent graduation rate. She received her professional and master certificates graduating first in class, with an excellent rating in both programs. She is able to train in all phases of AKC obedience, Schutzhund, tracking, search and rescue, narcotics, bomb detection, agility, conformation, protection and more. Ashley is now working as the director of training at Alden’s Kennels in Ringwood, Ill.
