A last-second 3-pointer by Chris Melby and put-back attempt by Kyle Bauman just missed Tuesday as the United South Central boys’ basketball team (5-3, 3-2 Gopher) lost to Mankato Loyola (6-2, 4-1) 62-60.

Bauman finished with 19 points and 17 rebounds and Melby scored 12 points.

The Rebels play next at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday against Bethlehem Academy (5-3, 2-2) in Mankato.
