Mr. Rod Anderson,

Having just read your comments on the salary dispute between the new sheriff and the country, I feel some response in favor of Sheriff Bob Kindler.

The county now wants the new kid on the block to perform the same job, provide the same services, maintain the same level of respect and command the same work force as his predessor for $1,000 less than his predessor.

Maybe all county employees should receive a reduction in salary as a cost-saving measure .

Maybe our commissoners should work for $14,000 instead of $24,000?

What about the $1,500 bonus everyone else receives?

As for Mr. Anderson, I’m sorry our political appointees have put us in a position where a working person has to spend their entire wakening hours working, just to keep their heads above the poverty line.

Maybe the vote is the way to, but who is not going to pick our pockets once we have left the voting both?
