The Albert Lea-Freeborn County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a one-day leadership program, “Journey to Becoming an Effective Leader.”

Phil Skramstad, author and president of Imarc Training and Development, will teach the one-day course from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Feb. 11 at Americas Best Value Inn in Albert Lea.

Imarc is a nationally known leadership and training and development company. Skramstad works to teach management teams to continuously improve quality at the workplace through effective leadership.

The class will be limited to the first 35 applicants and tuition is $159 for Chamber members, $189 for non-members and $139 for those sending two or more per organization. Contact the Chamber at 507-373-3938 to register.
