One injured in freeway rollover

One person was reportedly injured early this morning after a rollover near the cloverleaf interchange of Interstate 35 and Interstate 90.

The crash reportedly took place at 2:55 a.m. today. The driver reportedly came off one of the ramps, then spun out into a median and rolled.

The name of the person injured has not been released.

The Minnesota State Patrol stated the roads were icy at the time of the crash.

Numerous car crashes in Albert Lea

According to Albert Lea police and Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office, there were numerous vehicle crashes without injuries that were reported in the Albert Lea area Monday as snow fell.

A two-vehicle crash was reported at 8:07 a.m. Monday near the intersection of Hershey Street and Y.H. Hanson Ave.

A car reportedly swerved to miss another car and ended up in the snowbank near the intersection of Bridge Avenue and Sheridan Street at 1:38 p.m. Monday.

A car reportedly swerved to miss another car and ended up in the snowbank near the intersection of Bridge Avenue and Hawthorne Street at 3:36 p.m. Monday.

No injury traffic crashes were also reported near the intersection of Bridge Avenue and Marshall Street, West Clark Street and North Washington Avenue, and First Avenue and Main Street.

A driver reportedly hit a pole behind the car wash on Main Street at 7:28 p.m. Monday.

Auto crashes were reported on Interstate 35 at mile 17 and mile 11 Monday. People escaped without injuries.

Counterfeit bill reported

A counterfeit $10 bill was reported at McDonald’s, 609 E. Main St. at 7:18 a.m. Monday, according to police reports.
