Panthers down Vikings

NORTHWOOD,Iowa- Nichol Hebel scored 13 points, while Kaitlyn Bartel recorded 12 points as the Central Springs Panthers girls’ basketball team defeated the Northwood-Kensett Vikings 37-28 Tuesday in Northwood.

The Vikings led 11-9 after the first period,  the Panthers then outscored Northwood-Kensett 14-2 in the second quarter to take a 23-13 lead into halftime.

Britney Low led the Vikings with 11 points.

Northwood-Kensett is back in action on Friday as they travel to Saint Ansgar.
