The Panthers (10-2 overall, 7-0 Gopher) shot a sizzling 55 percent from the field and went 7-of-13 from the three point line.

“I was very pleased to see us shoot so well from the three point line,” NRHEG coach John Schultz said. “Our girls did an excellent job executing the game plan.”

While the Panther were sinking shots, they also owned a huge advantage in the rebounding department.

NRHEG outrebounded Medford 56-33 and the Panther defense caused 27 turnovers and recorded 22 steals.

Schultz says he is proud of his girls and the intensity they bring to the court.

“These girls get after it,” Schultz said. “I am very proud of them.”

The Panthers are back in action on Friday as they travel to Randolph to take on the Rockets.
