A purse was reported taken out of a car while parked at Kwik Trip, 906 W. Front St., at 4:47 p.m. Tuesday, according to police.

Albert Lea fishing to be on TV

The episode of “Fishing the Midwest with Bob Jensen” filmed in Albert Lea last summer is slated to air on FSN Charter Communications cable channel 30 at 8 a.m. Jan. 15 and 2 p.m. Jan. 20. It will also air at 7:30 a.m. Jan. 16 on KIMT Channel 3. The Fountain Lake Sportsmen’s Club assisted with the event.

Woman cited for shoplifting

Janiebelle Fernandez, 45, was cited for shoplifting from Shopko, 2610 Bridge Ave., at 6:43 p.m. Tuesday, reports stated.
