Down nine in the first half, the United South Central girls’ basketball team rallied to win at the Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton Bulldogs 44-27.

The Rebels trailed 23-18 at halftime but held the Bulldogs to four points in the second half.

Katie Overbo led the Rebels with 12 points and seven rebouands. Kayla Stenzel chipped in 10 points and nine rebounds and Val Sahr had nine points and 10 rebounds.

The Rebels have now won seven straight games and host New-Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva at 7:15 p.m. Thursday, owners of a nine-game win streak.
