Rebels shoot 30 2nd half FTs, win

Knotted at 19-19 with Blooming Prairie at halftime, the United South Central Rebels girls’ basketball team worked the ball inside and shot 30 second half free throws en route to a 40-35 in Blooming Prairie.
Kayla Stenzel led the Rebels (6-5, 4-1 Gopher) with 11 points and seven rebounds, and Val Sahr had team highs with 13 rebounds, five steals and four assists, while scoring eight points.
The Rebels play again at 7:15 p.m. Friday against Randolph (4-5, 1-3) in Wells.
