Sons of Norway offering 2 scholarships

Normanna Lodge No. 52 of the Sons of Norway is offering two $2,000 scholarships to people, one per person, with a 3.5 grade point average on a scale of 4.0 who have completed at least two years of college and intend to enroll in a program that leads to a concentration in Norwegian Studies. Norwegian Studies include things such as arts, crafts history, international studies, language, literature, music, politics, folklore, mythology, women, etc. The money will be paid to the recipient’s college on Dec. 1 after a statement is received from the college indicating enrollment in a Norwegian Studies program. The student has no obligation to Normanna Lodge following acceptance of the scholarship.

Your completed application should be postmarked by April 15, 2011. Please request your college to send a transcript of your credits to the below address, also postmarked by April 15, 2011.
