The group began its meeting on Dec. 1 with a guest speaker, Annette Petersen, from Senior Resources of Freeborn County. She talked about the services the club offers the seniors of Freeborn County. Some of the services were help with insurance, taxes and the ride service provided by volunteers.

The meeting was called to order by President Dorothy Wedge. The membership books were passed out. Members discussed giving to the library club for next year. A motion was made and seconded to make a donation to the Senior Resources of Freeborn County. The meeting was adjourned and the club had its Christmas party. Genevieve Schneider read the Christmas story from the Bible. The hostesses were Sharon Jahnke and Beverly Head.

The next meeting was called to order on Jan. 3 by Wedge. Roll call was taken and the minutes were read and approved. Treasurer’s report was read and also approved and placed on file.
