Kalli Van Ryswyk scored 23 second half points Friday as the Glenville-Emmons girls’ basketball team beat the Houston Hurricanes 52-36 in Houston.

The Wolverines (9-4, 8-4 Southeast) led the Hurricanes (1-12, 1-9) 30-10 at halftime and shot 24-of-61 for the game.

Van Ryswyk finished with 25 points, seven rebounds and three blocks.

Emily Belshan scored 17 of her 19 points in the first half and made three 3-pointers while chipping in 11 rebounds.

The Wolverines play again at 6 p.m. Thursday at Northwood-Kensett, Iowa.
