Naeve Health Care Foundation announced its latest fundraising endeavor, “The Beat Goes On,” at the Women’s Health Care Symposium, Feb. 5 at Wedgewood Cove Golf Club.

NHCF trustees Pennie Ladlie, Nancy Skophammer and Diane Clark announced the foundation’s gift of $183,192 which will be used to kick off “The Beat Goes On,” a $327,000 effort to raise money for crucial, cutting-edge cardiac care equipment for area first responders and Albert Lea Medical Center’s ambulance services, cardiology and cardiac rehab departments.

“We chose to announce the gift at the Women’s Health Care Symposium in recognition of the impact heart disease has on women,” says Ladlie. “As trustees we hope our commitment to support and promote local heart health will be matched with enthusiasm and contributions from anyone who depends on quality local health care through Albert Lea Medical Center.”
