FERGUS FALLS, Minn. — A man who allegedly swam naked in the swimming pool at the Fergus Falls Best Western on Jan. 22 has been charged on Tuesday, police reported.

Brian Matthew Steeke, 31, of Lake Park, has been charged with indecent exposure/lewdness in the presence of a minor.

According to the criminal complaint, Steeke was witnessed by several people at Best Western, including some children, swimming naked in the Best Western pool and hot tub. By the time police arrived, he was back in his room. When questioned, Steeke and a female companion denied that Steeke had been naked in the pool. However, multiple witnesses interviewed at the scene contradicted his claim.
