Bulldogs blast Wolverines

LAKE MILLS, Iowa– Lindy Pins scored 13 points Tuesday, while Amanda Lampman scored 12 as the Lake Mills Bulldogs girls’ basketball team defeated the Glenville-Emmons Wolverines 58-28 in Lake Mills.

“We had a well-balanced scoring night,” Lake Mills coach Beth Van Roekel said. “We took care of the ball and played very aggressive.”

The Bulldogs outscored the Wolverines 15-5 in the first quarter and 19-4 in the third quarter to jump out to a commanding 45-14 lead.

“This hasn’t been a very good match-up for us,” Glenville-Emmons coach Lisa Ziebell said. “Lake Mills is a very good, athletic team.”

Kalli Van Ryswyk led the Wolverines with 15 points, while Kayla Woodside had six points.

Glenville-Emmons plays again at 7:15 p.m. Friday at Lanesboro, while Lake Mills plays at 7 p.m. Saturday against Osage in Lake Mills.
